Bamboo is the main ingredient in our bamboo toothbrush. Ehsaas Nation bamboo toothbrushes can be used in 96% natural, vegan, and cruelty-free ways. As you might guess, both bristles and the toothbrush are part of an Ehsaas Nation bamboo toothbrush. This accounts for less than that 5% of our non-natural products.

We tried to find a more natural, better replacement for our bristles, but nylon was still the best choice. We also considered using pig hairs to make a 100% natural toothbrush.

Our entire product was to be eco-friendly, even the packaging. The toothbrush is packaged in a kraft paper bag. The outer box is 100% made of paper cartons and biodegradable.

Our bamboo toothbrushes 96% natural and cruelty-free are vegan

Bamboo is completely natural and wild, which is why we love it. You will be amazed at its incredible qualities and benefits.

  • Bamboo grows fast – Although it is technically a type of grass, bamboo can grow up to three or four feet per day. It’s abundant, so it doesn’t leave any traces in the ecosystem.
  • Bamboo absorbs CO2 ā€“ Bamboo absorbs greenhouse gases and releases 35% more oxygen to the atmosphere than trees.
  • It is alive and well. After harvesting, bamboo roots are still in place. This prevents soil erosion and retains nutrients for the next crop.
  • It is chemically unaffected – It’s completely natural. There are no chemicals required. No pesticides.
  • Employment – It is essential to the local economy as well as the local culture that bamboo grows wherever it is found. Bamboo is often called the ‘friend of the people’ in China.
  • Surprising strength: It is 34% harder than white oak and 2.5 times more stable that other woods.
